1879 P, CC, O and S Morgan Dollars
In 1879, approximately 15 million Morgans were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark), 756 thousand were made in Carson City (CC), 3 million were made in New Orleans (O) and 9 million were produced in San Francisco (S).
