1894 P, O and S Morgan Dollars
In 1894, approximately 111 thousand Morgans were minted in Philadelphia (no mint mark) 2 million were made in New Orleans (O) and 1 million were produced in San Francisco (S).
Events of 1894: Pullman Strike in Illinois (May 11), Tower Bridge opens in London (June 30), Alfred Dreyfus is arrested (October 15), Nicholas II becomes Czar of Russia on death of his father Alexander III (November 1).
